An Atlantic City man was wounded in a shooting just after midnight Sunday morning.
A ShotSpotter alert brought police to the 600 block of North New York Avenue at 12:11 a.m., Lt. Kevin Fair said.
A short time later, the 22-year-old victim arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment of serious injuries, according to the report.
It was the first of two shootings in the city over the weekend.
But Atlantic City police referred comment on a shooting Sunday night to the New Jersey State Police, who said they had no information about a shooting incident.
