An Atlantic City man was killed in a shooting Monday night that also injured another man.
Atlantic City police were called to the first block of South Florida Avenue just after 4 p.m. for the report of a shooting, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
Tashawn Manuel, 29, was found with gunshot wounds, according to the report.
He was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he was pronounced dead.
Another Atlantic City man was also wounded. He was treated for a wound that was not considered life-threatening, Tyner said.
His name was not released.
Known as "S," Manuel was remembered as a generous person who was always there for those he loved.
The investigation is ongoing by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Major Crimes Unit and members of the Atlantic City Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit.
