An Atlantic City man who was wanted in the shooting and stabbing of another man will now stay in jail.
Antwan Harper, 30, was a fugitive since December, when he was charged in the attack on a 38-year-old city man.
A ShotSpotter alert called officers to the scene at Tennessee and Caspian avenues just after noon Nov. 13.
During an altercation, Harper stabbed the 38-year-old victim, and then shot him in the face, according to the charges.
The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.
Harper is charged with two counts each of aggravated assault, along with weapons offenses that include possession of a weapon by a certain person.
Harper previously pleaded guilty to a certain person charge in 2013, and was given an eight year prison sentence with five years of parole ineligibility, court records show.
He had a pending drug charge at the time of the November incident.
