An Atlantic City man was wounded in a shooting just after noon on Friday.
A ShotSpotter alert called officers to the scene at Tennessee and Caspian avenues at 12:04 p.m., Lt. Kevin Fair said.
The shooting victim was in a vehicle fleeing the scene, which is near the New York Avenue School and Carver Hall Apartments.
The 38-year-old man was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment. His injury was not considered life-threatening.
