An Egg Harbor Township couple is looking for help in finding a truck that crashed into them in Hamilton Township and took off.
Lori and Ryan McHale were on Tilton Road in Hamilton Township when they got to the intersection at Wrangleboro Road, and slowed for the yellow light, and first saw the Ford F-150.
“What the hell is that truck doing?” Ryan McHale asked his wife as they saw it swerving.
She said she thought the driver may be trying to get intro the turn lane, but then he got behind them and struck their stopped car.
Ryan McHale put the car in park and told his wife to call 911.
The truck kept pushing against their car, Lori McHale told BreakingAC.
If the car wasn’t in park, they would have hit the car in front of them, she said.
The truck then backed up, hit them again, then backed up and took off.
Lori McHale captured photos of the truck and took video while on the phone with 911.
"He is flying and he is wasted," Lori McHale is heard telling the dispatcher as her husband follows the truck.
The Ford F150 is gray or tan with black racing stripes down the middle and black flames on the sides. It did not have any tags.
The McHales lost the truck around Consumer Square when they got stuck at red lights.
Police were able to keep up until he crossed onto the Black Horse Pike and turned down Volunteer Way, Lori McHale said.
But at that point, they were told the officers had to stop the pursuit, according to the law.
Anyone with information is asked to call Hamilton Township police 609-625-2700.
