Two teenage boys were arrested in Atlantic City in a car stolen from Galloway Township.
The 17-year-old passenger had a loaded handgun and 80 bags of heroin, according to the report.
Detectives Anthony Abrams and Nicholas Berardis stopped the vehicle at 10:34 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
The 16-year-old driver does not have a license. He was charged with receiving stolen property and released to a parent.
The 17-year-old was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute and possession of a weapon while committing a drug offense.
He was taken to Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center.
