Mays Landing man injured in Galloway crash

  • News

A Hamilton Township man was hospitalized after crashing his truck into the woods Wednesday afternoon in Galloway Township.
Anthony Pameri Jr., 20, of Mays Landing, was heading north on Wrangleboro Road when he went off the east side of the road and struck several trees, Lt. Christopher McGinty said.
Palmeri had to be removed from the vehicle and was treated at the scene by Officers Christopher Fitting and Mark Kienzle for a severe lower leg injury, according to the report.
Galloway Township EMS and AtlantiCare Paramedics arrived to provide further medical treatment.
Palmeri was then taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for further treatment.
Wrangleboro Road between Collins Road and Society Hill Drive was closed for about two hours as police investigated the accident.
At this time, there is no indication speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor, McGinty told BreakingAC.
