An Atlantic City man in custody for shooting a woman in April, is now charged in an earlier shooting.
Tyquan McClarin-Lamar, 25, was arrested May 3, days after police put out a wanted flyer for him in the April 27 shooting of a woman inside an apartment in the 100 block of N. North Carolina Avenue.
Police now say he shot a 27-year-old city man in March 22, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
The victim arrived a the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center just after midnight March 22. The shooting happened in the area of New York and Magellan avenues, according to the report.
An investigation by the city's Violent Crimes Unit linked McClarin-Lamar to the shooting.
He is now charged with attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault, along with one count each of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and certain person not to possess a weapon.
