Three Cumberland County men were indicted this week in a shooting that killed a 10-year-old girl inside her Vineland home.
Jasayde Holder had just finished fourth grade at the Dane Barse School in Vineland, when she was shot in an apparent drive-by on the Fourth of July.
The young girl’s family has asked that donations be made in her name to groups that prevent gun violence.
Video and witness statements helped lead investigators to identify the suspect vehicle, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae previously said.
Xavier Bogan, 20, of Upper Deerfield Township, has admitted to driving the vehicle with guns inside, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
He also allegedly implicated his two co-defendants, William Harris and Karonjah Witt.
Harris, 28, of Vineland, was indicted on charges of murder, aggravated manslaughter, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
Witt, 28, of Vineland, was indicted for conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
Bogan was indicted for conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
All three men remain in the Cumberland County jail.
