A man and woman have been arrested in a shooting that wounded a teen last weekend.
Abu Rasheed and Eva Martinez were arrested Friday leaving an abandoned property in the 2600 block of Pacific Avenue, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
They are accused in a shooting last Saturday, that wounded a 17-year-old Pleasantville boy.
Police were called to the first block of South Florida Avenue at about 3 a.m. Saturday, and found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the report.
The teen was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for the wound, which was not considered life-threatening.
While being treated, he was found in possession of 200 bags of heroin and more than seven grams of cocaine.
He was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute, and released on a summons.
Rasheed, 28, of Atlantic City, and Martinez, 29, of Egg Harbor City, were charged with two counts of aggravated assault, conspiracy and weapons offenses.
Rasheed, who police said also had a small amount of cocaine, was additionally charged with attempted murder, drug possession and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
He was sentenced to three years in prison for a 2014 robbery in which a man was shot in the leg.
Rasheed was arrested in January in a drug case. At that time, he was released on a summons.
