An Atlantice City woman remains in critical condition after she was found in Galloway Township brutally beaten on Sunday night.
Galloway police believe the 29-year-old woman was assaulted somewhere else and then dumped. Her name is not being released at this time.
Her brother has posted about his sister's condition on Facebook asking for prayer. BreakingAC is not sharing that post without her brother's permission or until police confirm her identity.
Police were called to Fourth Avenue just after 5 p.m. Sunday for the report of an injured woman on the side of the road.
When officers arrived, they immediately rendered medical aid, and an ambulance was called.
She was taken to the Trauma Center at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus in Atlantic City.
The investigation is ongoing with help from the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
