Prosecutor releases identity of man killed in Atlantic City

An Atlantic City man has been identified as the city's first homicide victim of the year.

Dwight Hutchinson, 65, was found unresponsive in the first block of North Kentucky Avenue near the Save A Lot at about 2:20 p.m. Sunday, acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Will Reynolds said.

Medical personnel were unable to revive him.

An autopsy determined he died of injuries sustained from a stab wound.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been announced at this time.

The investigation is being conducted by the Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and Atlantic City police.
