One person was displaced by a fire Thursday morning in Pleasantville.
Firefighters were called to 1006 S. Main St. at at 9:44 a.m. for a structure fire, Capt. Joe Ricci said.
Battalion Chief Peter Elias and fire units arrived minutes later to find smoke and fire visible, according to the report.
Firefighters evacuated surrounding units and had the fire under control within 15 minutes, Ricci said.
There were no reports of injuries.
The unit had moderate fire and smoke damage.
One resident was displaced and is getting assistance through AtlantiCare Housing, Ricci said.
Pleasantville police assisted with traffic and crowd control. Fire personnel from Atlantic City International Airport along with TriCare EMS assisted at the scene.
The cause is under investigation.
