Two men wanted in a Pennsylvania killing were arrested at an Atlantic City Airbnb after a standoff Thursday night.
Cody Reed and Marquise Johnson, both 23, are charged in the March 3 killing of Daquan Tucker.
The victim was found dead by a bicyclist about 100 feet off the Schuylkill River Trail. He was shot multiple times, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele and West Norriton Police Chief Michael Kelly.
Reed was arrested without incident at about 5:15 p.m. at a rented apartment on North Rhode Island Avenue.
Johnson was not there at the time, according to the report.
When he did arrive at about 7:30 p.m., he barricaded himself inside the rental.
Patrol officers along with the department's Emergency Response Team consisting of SWAT, Crisis Negotiators and Bomb Squad responded.
The area around the building was blocked off.
Atlantic City SWAT entered the apartment at 11:14 p.m., and found Johnson hiding inside a washing machine.
Reed and Johnson are charged with several crimes including first-, second- and third-degree murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and certain person not to possess a firearm.
They are currently housed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility awaiting extradition to Montgomery County.
