An Atlantic City man was arrested Wednesday for a lewd act inside an Egg Harbor Township.
Cuong Phung, 49, allegedly masturbated near the clothing aisle at The Goodwill Store, and then fled when a store employee confronted him, Lt. John Heim said.
It was witnessed by a child that was younger than 13, according to the charge.
Police responding to the call just before 2 p.m. found that was the second time Phung allegedly committed the lewd act inside the store at 6701 Black Horse Pike.
Management told police that the same man was seen committed the same act Sept. 30. Police were not called after the man fled the store.
Video surveillance was reviewed, Heim said. Patrol units found Phung, and he was arrested.
He was released on summonses under bail reform.
Officers Anthony Giannico and William Burns investigated the incidents.
