Three Monmouth County residents were killed in a crash Sunday night on the Garden State Parkway.
A Toyota and Kia were both traveling south near milepost 44.6, when the Kia struck the rear of the Toyota just before 10 p.m., Detective Jeffrey Lebron told BreakingAC.
The impact caused the Kia to run off the road and strike a tree, according to the report.
The Kia's driver, Sabrina Kontos, 24, of Ocean Grove, suffered fatal injuries.
Two of three passengers also died as a result of the crash: Dion Bullock, 27, of Asbury Park and a 28-year-old man from Eatontown. His named has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
The crash is under investigation. No additional information is being released at this time.
