An Egg Harbor Township man pleaded guilty to second-degree charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and hydrocodone.
Kevin Vaughan, 48, faces five years in prison on each count to be served concurrently under the plea agreement.
Vaughan was stopped by Atlantic City police and FBI Task Force officers April 21, 2021, as part of a long-term narcotics investigation.
Police found a large bulge in his waistband that was later identified as 1,200 wax folds of fentanyl, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Vaughan was arrested and allowed police to search his vehicle, where they found 72 hydrocodone pills.
A search of Vaughan while he was being booked found 14 baggies of crack cocaine.
Vaughan is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 15.
He is not jailed at this time.
