Galloway man gets seven years in guns and drugs case

  • News

A Galloway Township man was sentenced to seven years in prison for possession of a handgun and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Ibin Ingrum must serve at least 3½ years of his sentence under a plea agreement.

He and co-defendant Robert Gunter were arrested last July, after a five-week investigation into drugs and guns.

A search of a Galloway home led to two handguns, ammunition and extended capacity magazines. Police also found more than three ounces of fluorofentanyl, despropionyl fluorofentanyl, fluorophenethyl 4-ANPP and xylazine, along with 10 wax folds packaged for sale containing a mixture of fluorofentanyl, fentanyl, phenethyl 4-ANPP and xylazine, a baggie with about one ounce of methamphetamine, two digital scales and documents bearing both men's names.

Gunter, 40, also of Galloway Township, previously pleaded guilty to second-degree possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute. He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending awaiting sentencing, which is scheduled for next month.

He faces 10 years with four years of parole ineligibility.
