South Dakota man indicted in Atlantic City cousin's killing in EHC

A South Dakota man accused of fatally shooting his cousin at a relative's memorial service in Egg Harbor City was indicted for murder.

Dominique Woodall, 27, of Sioux Falls, S.D., was in the area for another family member's repast when the shooting happened.

Terrance Dismuke, 30, of Atlantic City, was shot as he stood outside a Dodge Challenger.

Woodall denies he was the one who shot his cousin, defense attorney Maya Rex said at a detention hearing in June.

“He heard there was a commotion but he was not involved whatsoever in the commotion,” Rex told the judge. “He then left and went back to uncle’s house in Pleasantville.”

He was arrested at that home around 2 a.m. June 19.

Family members were streaming live to Facebook when police later surrounded that Tunis Avenue home overnight, ordering Woodall outside.
