Two teens allegedly fled after crash a car reported stolen from Northfield.
Pleasantville police were called to the area of East Black Horse Pike and Main Street for a crash at about 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, Capt. Stacey Schlachter said.
Responding units were told three people fled from a KIA after the crash with a vehicle driven by a New York woman, according to the report..
The teens ran north through the wooded area off 30 East Black Horse Pike, Schlachter said.
Officer Michael Mabkhouti apprehended Phillip Daniels on Franklin Boulevard.
Detectives Haliema Leach and Jeffery Raine apprehended a 17-year-old Ventnor boy on Lyons Court.
Daniels, 19, of Atlantic City, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for a head injury, Schlachter said. The juvenile was released to his mother.
The other driver, 58-year-old Sherrill Ann Brown of Argle, N.Y., complained of pain and was treated at the scene by TriCare. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
Northfield Detective Sgt. Michael Buccafurni responded to the scene and the KIA was towed by his department.
This case is pending further investigation by Pleasantville and Northfield police departments. No charges have been filed at this time.
It has not yet been determined who was driving the stolen vehicle.
