Stolen Linwood puppy returned, investigation continues

A French bulldog puppy stolen from a Linwood home has been returned.

Police did not give details about how the dog was found, but thanked those who helped, including tips from the public.

Two vehicles along with other items were also taken from the West Vernon Avenue home, according to earlier reports.

The suspects are using garage door openers to gain access to residents’ homes, police warned.

The investigation into the theft of the dog and related motor vehicle thefts and burglaries is ongoing, police said.
