A Cumberland County man was found guilty of fatally shooting the boyfriend of his child's mother in 2019.
Frank J. Baker, now 29, was convicted on several charges Wednesday, including murder, hindering and tampering with evidence.
Jair Rennie, 25, was fatally shot four times in the backyard of his girlfriend's Fairfield Township home.
He and Baker were arguing, when the defendant asked the woman to choose between them and she chose Rennie, according to information given in court.
Rennie died hours later at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Baker fled to his father's home in Lawrence Township, where he washed himself in bleach and others helped dispose of physical evidence.
He then fled to Delaware before later turning himself in.
Baker faces 30 years to life when he is sentenced March 24.
