Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a Bridgeton man in Millville on Friday night.
Police were called to the area of Fourth and E streets at about 10:39 p.m. for a report of shots fire, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.
Lamont Jones Jr., 33, was found with gunshot wounds to his chest, according to the report.
He was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No information was released about a possible suspect.
