No injuries in morning SUV fire on A.C. Expressway

A driver was able to escape a vehicle that caught fire on the Atlantic City Expressway on Monday morning.

The fire happened at 7:34 a.m. eastbound around mile marker 14.2 in Hamilton Township, Sgt. Philip Curry said. 

The Chevy Blazer caught fire while traveling east for an unknown reason, Curry said. 

The fire was extinguished and the vehicle was removed at about 8:22 a.m.
