Ventnor police said they had to disperse a crowd of about 400 trucks and vehicles after the Atlantic City Truck Meet on Saturday.
About 1,000 people were gather at the Shopping Plaza on Wellington Avenue, believed to have come from the meet at Bader Field, police said.
Patrol officers arrived at the scene at about 8 p.m., according to the report.
While they were there, vehicles began performing "dangerous and reckless maneuvers," police said.
Police stopped several vehicles and issued summonses for reckless driving.
They were able to disperse the group with help from Margate and Atlantic City police.
The "vast majority" were cooperative and compliant, police said.
There were no reported injuries or property damage.
