An Egg Harbor Township school bus picking up students was rear-ended Thursday morning.
Caron James, 62, of the Township, was driving the bus west on Washington Avenue near Martin when she slowed with the yellow lights flashing to pick up children, Lt. Brian Keane said.
Wensdy Charles was also heading west, and crashed into the rear of the vehicle, causing significant damage to both vehicles, according to the report.
There were 18 Davenport Elementary School students onboard at the time, Keane said.
All were evaluated by EMS at the scene with no injuries reported. Later, one student did complain about neck pain to the school nurse later that day, Keane said.
Charles, 28, of the township, was injured and evaluated, but did not ask to be taken to the hospital.
He was insured a summons for careless driving.
It does not appear that he has other driving infractions.
The crash is being investigated by Officer Nathan Lahr.
Traffic was affected on Washington Avenue for about an hour while the scene as investigated and cleared.
