A Northfield mother has been identified as the victim in a fatal hit-and-run last week.
Jodi Lynn Milhan, 49, was struck March 1 on Route 30 eastbound in Atlantic City at about 11:30 p.m.
The dark blue 2012 Nissan Altima then fled the scene.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office released a photo of the vehicle this week, saying that it would likely have heavy front-end damage, specifically to the passenger side. The sideview mirror is missing.
The license plate was registered to Iowa LNB789. But investigators believed that the damage would be the identifier, with the office saying the plates may have been changed or removed.
Milhan was a graduate of Egg Harbor Township High School, according to her Facebook.
The Prosecutor’s Office listed her living in Pleasantville, but those who knew her said she lived in Northfield. Her most recent address was in Atlantic City, according to her obituary.
She leaves behind a son, daughter and grandson.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this vehicle or individual is asked to call Detective Jennifer Burke of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office at 609-909-7684 or the Atlantic City Police Department Traffic Division at 609-347-5744.
