A Vineland woman was killed and three others hospitalized in a Hamilton Township crash.
Kerry Forrest, 34, was heading east on Millville Avenue approaching the S curve just west of Pittsburgh Avenue, when she struck the eastbound guardrail, police said.
Forrest died from her injuries.
The rail crossed the center line, striking a SUV driven by Kelly Connor, 50, also of Vineland.
The crash continued into a Jeep driven by Todd Ruymen, 44, also of Vineland.
Connor and Ruymen were taken to the hospital. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
A 5-year-old passenger as flown to Cooper University Hospital, and is in stable condition.
Traffic was diverted for about four hours.
The Mays Landing, Laureldale and Richland fire departments, along with rescue squads from Hamilton, Dorothy and Buena Vista helped at the scene. Also on scene were AtlantiCare EMS, AtlantiCare Paramedics, South Star, New Jersey State Police and the State of New Jersey Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash is under investigation. Witnesses are asked to call Detective Rudolph or Officer Osby at 609-625-2700.
