Galloway investigating after juveniles were shot at walking home

Two Galloway Township juveniles were shot at while walking home Sunday evening, police said.

No one was injured.

Police were called to the area of Cincinnati Avenue and Aloe Street at about 5:37 p.m. in the South Egg Harbor section of the township.

Two juveniles were walking home when they were "engaged by another group of individuals" also believed to be juveniles or young adults, according to the report.

Shots were fired at the two juveniles as they entered the rear of the Aloe Village Apartments at 1311 Aloe St., police said.

Four shots were fired, according to the report.

At least two village apartments were damaged.

Galloway Township patrol officers, detectives and K-9 were called to investigate. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit was also called.

No suspects have been identified at this time.
