Atlantic City shooting victim dies

An Atlantic City man shot Tuesday night died of his injuries.

Luis Rosa Rodriguez, 23, was shot just after 8 p.m. in the first block of South Florida Avenue.

He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he was pronounced dead Wednesday afternoon.

Th investigation is being conducted by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and Atlantic City police.

The shooting happened in the same area where an allegedly drug-trafficking ring was raided last year resulting in 16. arrests.
