A.C. woman arrested after giving ID of family member with warrants

  • News

An Atlantic City woman was arrested after a car stop linked her to several outstanding warrants.

But the warrants were not for Natasha Miller, police said.

Instead, Miller allegedly gave the officers a state identification card for a family member with a close resemblance, Lt. Kevin Fair said.

Miller was arrested and found with 132 bags of heroin, more than 50 grams of cocaine and more than $2,600 in cash, according to the report.

When Miller was fingerprinted, her true identity was revealed, Fair said.

Miller had no outstanding warrants. She also did not have a valid driver's license, leading to motor vehicle charges as well, court records show.

Miller was jailed on the drugs charges, along with money laundering and hindering apprehension, for giving the false identification.

She was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Miller was released Monday after her first appearance before a judge. The state did not move for detention.
