An Atlantic City teen was arrested with a loaded handgun Sunday, after police received information about an armed man.
Angelo Williams, 18, had a handgun with a large-capacity magazine in his waistband, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Detective Eric Evans put out information that a man was in possession of a handgun in the first block of North Arkansas Avenue just after 8 p.m., according to the report.
Officer Jesse Oliver-Logan found Williams and discovered the gun on him, Fair said.
Williams was arrested without incident and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a large-capacity magazine and possession of a firearm without a serial number.
He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing set for Thursday.
