An Atlantic City man wanted on a warrant was arrested with a loaded gun and drugs Thursday, police said.
Jose Lugo, 22, was wanted on a warrant from the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office, Lt. Kevin Fair said. The charges were not detailed.
Detective Eric Evans received information about Lugo's location, and found him in the 1200 block of the Boardwalk.
As Evans along with Lt. Richard Andrews, and Detectives James Barrett and Christopher Smith watched Lugo, they saw a man weighing marijuana as the two sat together, Fair said.
Lugo was found in possession of a loaded handgun, 24 bags of heroin and 10 grams of methamphetamine, according to the report.
Scott Snowden, 25, of Atlantic City, was found with 68 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics.
Lugo was charged with multiple drug and weapons offenses and sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Snowden was charged with various drug offenses and released on a summons.
