An Egg Harbor Township woman was charged this weekend after a teen was found unconscious during a party at the woman's home.
Saundra McCarthy, 46, is charged with child endangerment and making alcohol available to minors after police were called to her home Saturday night, according to police records obtained by BreakingAC through an Open Public Records Act request.
Police were called to the 200 block of Boston Avenue just after 9 p.m., for a report of loud music and possible underage drinking, according to the call logs.
About 200 juveniles were seen leaving the residence as police arrived, according to the report.
McCarthy told patrol officers that she planned to have a party for her daughter and the girl's friends, but "did not expect the massive number of juveniles to be on location," the report states.
While police were on the scene, an 18-year-old man became unconscious in the home's kitchen, and an ambulance was called, according to the report.
Numerous empty bottles of alcoholic beverages and red solo cups were found inside and around the outside of the property, the report states.
Patrol stayed on the scene until all of the juveniles left the area. Calls included that juveniles were climbing on cars.
McCarthy's charges were put on summonses that were mailed to her, the report states.
