  • News

The Arc of Atlantic County Golf Classic raised $124,000 to benefit programs for local individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

More than 100 golfers teed off during the even, which aids the Arc's case management program, sports and recreation opportunities, and family respite.

The tournament has raised more than $1 million since it began in 2008.

OceanFirst Bank's team of Nancy Wescoat, Dawn Brodton, James Andreacci and Tony Bonanato took first place.

Second were Jared Christmann, and Joe, Christopher and Michael Viviani of Boardwalk Honda.

The Golden Nugget Casino, Hotel & Marina took third place with Tom Pohlman, Michael Adams, and Kevin and Sean Scull.

The event’s presenting sponsor was I. Rice & Company.
