Atlantic City man faces seven years for cocaine in Galloway car stop

  • News

An Atlantic City man faces seven years in prison after pleading guilty on cocaine charges.

Eric Malcolm, 34, was pulled over in Galloway Township on Feb. 17, 2022, for several motor vehicle violations, court records show.

A police K-9 dog then alerted handlers that there were narcotics in the vehicle, according to the charges.

Police found several ounces of cocaine under the driver's seat.

Malcolm admitted during his plea that he intended to sell the drug.

He is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 20 before Superior Court Judge Joseph Levin.

Malcolm will remain in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending sentencing.
