Inspira Medical Center is safe after Vineland police responded to an incident there Saturday.
Police were called to the hospital at 1505 W. Sherman Ave. for reports of an active shooter, which was determined not to be the case, police said.
Instead, there was what is described as "an isolated incident that was contained within the hospital."
Inspira was locked down at some point in accordance with safety procedures, but that has been lifted.
No details have been released, but police said there is no danger to patients, staff or visitors.
The incident is under investigation.
The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office was also notified.
