Residents looking to clear their old criminal records can come to Pleasantville on Friday for a Project Justice Expungement Power Event on Friday.
The Coalition for a Safe Community event is being held at Mount Zion Baptist Church from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Event organizers recommend those looking to participate email atlexpunge.mbx@njcourts.gov before the event with name, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
Pre-registration is recommended. Walk-ins will be helped if time permits.
Anyone coming must bring identification to the event.
Those who have pending charges or who have been on parole or probation in the past five years likely will not qualify.
Social services and energy assistance will be on site.
