Three Atlantic City 13-year-old were arrested after they fled a vehicle reported stolen from the city, police said.
A resident reported his Kia Sportage stolen from the 500 block of Delaware Avenue overnight into Thursday, Capt. Kevin Fair said.
Three days later, Officers Alex Torres and Michael Regalbuto saw the stolen car being driven in the area of Maryland Avenue and Absecon Boulevard at 11:35 p.m., according to the report.
The vehicle came to a stop after rolling into the curb and a street sight, Fair said.
The three teens inside ran from the car when they saw the patrol vehicle, according to the report.
Officer Justice Martin and other responding officers found the three teen boys, who were arrested.
Each was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, receiving stolen property and obstruction of justice.
They were released to their guardians who were each issued a summons for allowing their children out after curfew with no supervision.
