A Philadelphia man was arrested after a woman intentionally crashed his car and a rifle was found inside, police said.
Police were called to the beach block of New York Avenue at 9:13 p.m. Friday for several people fighting, Capt. Kevin Fair said.
Joseph Miller and several acquaintances fought with several other individuals, according to the report.
During a fight, a woman got into Miller's vehicle and drove off, deliberately crashing into a light pole and fire hydrant, Fair said.
The woman then fled along with several other unknown individuals, according to the report.
During the investigation, officers learned that Miller went to his vehicle after the fight and retrieved a rifle, Fair said.
Officers found the rifle inside the vehicle and arrested Miller.
The 19-year-old is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of a large-capacity magazine.
He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a hearing.
