A Mercer County man is charged with first-degree drug offenses after his arrest led to a search of his hotel room and vehicle.
Leroy Clark, 44, of Ewing, was seen selling drugs while Officer Jennifer Sanchez was conducting surveillance Friday in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Sanchez and Officers Nickolas Cardani and Anthony Nastasi found Clark in possession of more than eight ounces of marijuana, according to the report.
An investigation led to warranted searches of his vehicle and hotel room, Fair said. Police recovered nearly 10 ounces of cocaine, 420 bags of heroin and items used for narcotics distribution.
Clark faces multiple drug charges, along with money laundering. He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
