BreakingAC is growing.

The news site was started to make sure residents would be informed about the news going on around them.

Breaking news and crime, along with important information about the area took lead.

Now, the offerings will be more diverse.

Michelle Tomko is heading up our entertainment section, including dining reviews, event features and a weekly round up of the offerings.

Check in each Wednesday to plan your weekend.

There is even a growing events calendar where you can even link to get tickets.

Find out great places to hike or what the latest coastal decorating trends are with reporter Shannon Hanselman.

We also will have a newsbrief video daily to inform readers not only about the things we're reporting, but interesting news popping up all over.

Readers can offer their own input as well.

Our new feature, Good Citizens, will highlight a local person — or group — doing positive things.

Christian Ragland is the inaugural Good Citizen, inspired to do good work by his family, including Atlantic City legend, Sister Jean Webster.

Want to have your say on a topic?

BreakingAC also is now including an Opinion section that will give readers a chance to voice their ideas for the area's future or their take on a topic in the news.

The growth is not done. So keep reading, and visit BreakingAC every day.
