Atlantic City police seek help finding suspects in two cases

The Atlantic City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding two men wanted following separate shooting investigations.

Ashan Jackson, 19, of Galloway Township, has been charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses in connection with a shooting. 

Patrol officers were at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, after a man walked in suffering from a gunshot wound at 2:34 a.m. March 13.

The victim, who is not being identified, is a 29-year-old from Pleasantville.

Atlantic City gunshot victim wanted on weapons offenses

Warren Govan, 38, of Philadelphia, went to the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound April 7. 

Govan provided false information throughout the investigation to officers and reported that he was shot at Sovereign and Atlantic avenues. 

An investigation determined that Govan shot himself.

Both incidents are being investigated by the Violent Crimes Unit.
