The new officers are Andrew Cruz, Riyadh Duffy, Leomar Flores, Aaron Laramore, Sy Le, Joseph Lyall, Aaron McKim, Andrew Pellegrino, Jovahn Perez, Juan Perez-Delacruz, Isabella Rando, Muhammed Sarfraz and Matthew Stanwood.

The city then graduated 11 firefighting recruits after they completed their 12 weeks of training at the Anthony "Tony" Canale Fire Training Center in Egg Harbor Township.

The new firefighters are Naquan Blakeley, Matthew Branco, Drew Carpenter, Harlin Colon, Matthew Compton, Alexis Gibson, Trent Manera, Shane Morgan, Kirsten Pruitt, Patrick Ruane and Shay Steele Jr.

They join 25 recruits who graduated in March, bringing the city's Fire Department to 196 members.
