An Ocean City man was seriously injured when a car struck him Tuesday morning in the 200 block of Eighth Street, police said in a news release.
Police responded to the accident at about 7:27 a.m. The 69-year-old pedestrian, whose name was not released, suffered serious injuries.
The man was initially treated at the scene by police officers and members of the Ocean City Fire Department.
He was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Police said the driver involved in the accident was a 59-year-old Ocean City woman. No further details were released on the driver.
