An Atlantic City native is hitting the big screen for a second time in Mays Landing.
Noon Bornstar — born Johnny Carter — will have a red carpet opening of "1 Foot In, 1 Foot Out" at the Regal Hamilton Commons starting at 7:15 p.m. Thursday. Showtime is set for 8 p.m.
Bornstar premiered his first movie nearly three years ago.
"Faceblocked" gave Catfishing a twist with a locally set tale.
This time, he's telling the story of an up-and-coming actor on the brink of his big break when he gets caught up in the drama of Atlantic City's streets.
But this time around, things are bigger and better, the actor, writer, director and producer tells BreakingAC.
"It's a bigger cast, better quality and more well put together movie," he says of his sophomore endeavor.
In addition to Bornstar, the cast includes Jessica Carmona, Young Dolla, Mal Ihsan and Evin Ginn. It is shot by Ds the Writer.
Local music will also be sprinkled in. That same music will be featured at an afterparty set for ACX1 Studios in Atlantic City. Doors are set to open at 10 p.m. with things getting started at 11 p.m.
