Stockton University will host a panel discussion on the future of cannabis consumption lounges this week.

Rob Mejia, a teaching specialist in Cannabis Studies at Stockton, will moderate “Destination Cannabis: Consumption Lounges, N.J.’s Next Big Attraction” at noon Thursday.

He will be broadcasting from High Rollers Dispensary at 120 S. Indiana Ave. The seminar also will be broadcast via Zoom.

The panelists include:

  • Spencer Belz, the COO of SunnyTien Dispensary in Atlantic City
  • Smrita M. Choubey, founder and CEO of Veda Warrior, a wellness company that makes science-based herbal remedies.
  • Jon Cohn, the founder and CEO of Agri-Kind Brands and the CEO of High Rollers Dispensary in Atlantic City.

Following the discussion, the panelists will take questions from the audience.

The event is sponsored by the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism in Stockton’s School of Business and the Cannabis and Hemp Research Initiative at Stockton.

Stockton was the first school in New Jersey to offer an undergraduate degree in cannabis studies when the School of Business debuted the Bachelor of Science in Hemp and Cannabis Business Management in the fall of 2024.
