A third man has died from injuries sustained in a fiery weekend crash on the Garden State Parkway.
Danie Pettus, 20, of Atlantic City, died Thursday, four days after the car he was a passenger veered off the road and hit several trees around milepost 42.1 in Galloway Township, State Police confirmed to BreakingAC.
Driver Eric Burch and front seat passenger, Tyleek Jones, both 20, died in the crash. The two were cousins.
Pettus and Adam Jones, 19, of Galloway Township, were both injured, and taken to the Trauma Center at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. Pettus was later airlifted to Cooper Health System in Camden.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
