  • News
Five adults and four juveniles were arrested in an Atlantic City burglary involving a gun. Police were called to the home on the 500 block of North Ohio Avenue for the report of a woman being held at gunpoint after nine people entered her home without permission, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. When Officers Michael LoSasso and Stanley Scutro arrived, they found the 54-year-old victim outside unharmed, according to the report. The nine suspects were still inside, Fair said. Several tried to run out the back but went back inside when they saw the officers. The officers ordered them all out of the home, and they were arrested without incident.
LoSasso found a loaded gun inside the home. All nine were charged with burglary, conspiracy, employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a hollow-point ammunition, criminal restraint and violation of executive stay-at-home order. Arrested and taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility were Raymond Fitzgerald, 26, of Somers Point; Theron Parrish-Jordan, 20, of Mays Landing; Aaron Vaulx, 20, of Vineland, and Atlantic City residents Autumn Jones, 20, and Tyrone Ford, 19.A 17-year-old Mays Landing boy, 16-year-old Vineland girl, and two Atlantic City teens, ages 16 and 17, were taken to the Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center. Note: The Atlantic County Justice Facility no longer provides mugshots to the media, citing the Atlantic County prosecutor’s order. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office says it’s part of the Attorney General’s Guidelines. There is no such guideline, according to the Attorney General’s Office, but they have told these offices for years that they should not release any photos that appear to be mugshots.
