A Pleasantville man was arrested Sunday on drug charges and an outstanding warrant.
Officers Kamen Potts and Kamau Bazemore were patrolling the area of Sassafras Run in response to resident complaints about BB guns, dirt bikes, drug activity and unruly juveniles, Capt. Stacey Schlachter said.
During their patrol, they saw a dirt bike leaning on a fence near the 200 building of Sassafras Run, according to the report.
Dante Cody, 25, told the officers it was his bike, with an investigation confirming that.
But the officers did find that Cody had an outstanding warrant, resulting in his arrest, Schlachter said.
He was also found to have drugs in his possession, she said.
Cody was charged with two counts of distribution and taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on the warrant.
